3,000 SQM Steel Structure Cold Storage Building
Panama City, Panama
Project Overview
Strategically located in Panama City, a vital hub for Central American logistics, this 3,000 square meter facility serves as a high-capacity food storage warehouse and processing center. To support the heavy dynamic loads of daily operations and stringent hygiene standards, the entire structure utilizes a highly durable steel framework structure system, creating a completely unhindered interior layout.
Advanced Multi-Temp Zoning & Insulation
As a specialized steel structure cold storage building, thermal efficiency is critical. The building's exterior envelope is constructed using 100mm high-density Polyurethane (PU) sandwich panels, transforming it into a superior steel structure insulated building. The interior is meticulously divided into multi-temperature zones to cater to diverse food processing needs: a -25℃ deep freeze zone, a -18℃ frozen storage zone, and a 0~4℃ medium-temperature chilling and processing area.
Defrosting Technology & Global Supply
To ensure continuous, highly efficient refrigeration without ice buildup, the system incorporates an advanced Hot Gas Defrosting mechanism. As an expert overseas steel structure factory, YG Steel Structure not only provided the robust steel skeleton but also seamlessly integrated the architectural design with these complex HVAC and refrigeration requirements, delivering a turnkey structural solution that was rapidly assembled on-site in Panama.
